Convenient locaiton, short walk to the center of town for restaurants and near the train station
-
Comfortable bed, loved excellent setting.
Central location and huge room. Walking distance to museo correale that was our destination.
-
the hotel is 200 metres away from sugar party, where we got some food. it was a big advantage to stay within 5 minutes’ stroll from viale degli aranci. walking distance to the train station, just 10 minutes.

Well-located, easy walk to town and near the city bus

The location was very good.
There was to much noise from the street. Even with the window closed I had hard time sleeping

Location was perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendful.

The hotel is practically located near the main square and the train station. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof. It's quite small, but the view is beautiful, and the chairs are quite comfortable. The room was really comfortable, but the thing we will remember the most, is how friendly and helpful the personnel was. At the end of our stay we had quite a large collection of maps and guides of all kinds of things Sorrentine!
Unfortunately the swimming pool is only open until six.

Close to Tasso Square for shopping and lovely resturants. Friendly hotel, quiet to travel from.
-
Location ideal beside station and town centre. Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming. Great value for money
-
Facilities are very good. Rooftop pool good and lunchtime service good quality and inexpensive.
-
Great location , good size well maintained room.nice roof top small pool with great views
Poor quality breakfast , poor quality bed . Mediocre front desk

The hotel was close to the bus and railway station. It was also close to the main square and the town shops. Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the street with the hills in the background. An extensive garden surrounded the hotel on 3 sides. The reception desk staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The computer for guest use (€5 for an hour) was very frustrating as it was slow and did not load up maps to help find future accommodation. On one of the lanes of the old town, I found an internet cafe where I used much better computers for less money).

Good location, nice garden and pool
Hotel is very dated and in need of major updating. Definitely not a 4 star, closer to 2 or 3. Overpriced for what it offers.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, always had a smile. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were spacious and had a good sized balcony. The breakfast had a good selection on offer, and the rooftop terrace bar was a good place to get a lunch time meal. Excellent value. Did not use the restaurant at night, so cannot comment there. The location could not be faulted. A two minute stroll to the bus and train station and the same to the main square. Cesare Augusto is a good base for exploring the delights of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. No airs or graces about the hotel, just genuine value for money. Highly recommended.

Location is quite well. Personel are nice.
Very old fashion rooms, reception and dining rooms (the site mentions 'recently renovated modern hotel' but that must have been written in 1960-1970). Swimming pool is on the roof, small and not deep (3m x 8m x 1.25m). Quite different than shown on the website pictures. Almost no water came out of the shower of the 5th floor. Taking a shower was not possible and we reserved for 4 nights...
